Welcome to Aftershock

A Place to Belong.
A Faith to Make Your Own.

The teenage years are full of questions, opportunities, and challenges. At Aftershock, we want students to know Jesus, grow in His Word, and build meaningful relationships centered on Christ.

Through biblical teaching, worship, discipleship groups, and opportunities to serve, we encourage students to develop a faith that reaches far beyond Wednesday nights.

"Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe."

More Than a Weekly Gathering

Growing as Disciples

Our desire isn't simply to fill a room with students. It's to help students become lifelong followers of Jesus Christ.

01

Know God's Word

We teach the Bible so students can understand who God is, what He has done through Jesus, and how His truth shapes everyday life.

02

Grow in Community

Through Connect Groups and D-Groups, students build friendships, ask honest questions, and encourage one another in their faith.

03

Live on Mission

We encourage students to put their faith into action by serving others, sharing the gospel, and living for Christ wherever they go.

Rooted in Truth

Rooted in God's Word. Growing in Faith.

We believe God's Word is essential for every season of life.

Our goal is to help students understand Scripture, apply biblical truth, and develop a personal commitment to following Jesus.

As students grow in their knowledge of God's Word, we pray their love for Christ will deepen and their lives will reflect His truth.

Better Together

Faith Grows Better Together.

Following Jesus was never meant to be done alone.

Through D-Groups and meaningful relationships, students have a place to ask questions, study God's Word, pray together, and encourage one another.

We want every student to know they are welcomed, valued, and surrounded by people who care about their walk with Christ.

Worship Together

A Generation Seeking Jesus.

We want students to know that worship is more than a song. It's a life surrendered to Christ.

Beyond Wednesday Nights

Faith. Friendship. A Whole Lot of Fun.

Some of the best memories are made when we're doing life together.

From games and special gatherings to camps, retreats, mission opportunities, and service projects, there's always something to look forward to at Aftershock.

These experiences create opportunities to strengthen friendships, grow in faith, and make lasting memories.

Partnering With Parents

Discipleship Starts at Home.

We believe parents are the primary disciplers of their children, and the church has the privilege of coming alongside them.

Through Empowered Families, Cowee provides biblical encouragement, practical resources, and milestone guides to help families navigate the teenage years with wisdom and intentionality.
