Unbroken 72 Hour Bible Reading

You have an opportunity to read through the Scriptures on Wednesday December 29, 2021 at 6PM through Saturday, January 1, 2022 6PM.

God’s word tells us in Revelation 1:3, “Blessed is the one who reads, and those who hear the words of the prophecy and keep the things which are written in it; for the time is near.” There is power when the word of God is read aloud!

So, how will this work?

Doors will open at 5PM. Starting promptly at 6PM on Wednesday December 29, 2021 we will begin reading Genesis 1…. everyone who would like to participate in reading will have an opportunity. Some may feel led to fast and pray during this time. Families are welcome to come, you can invite neighbors and relatives, and you may choose not to read aloud and follow along. You may come and go as your schedule allows.

FAQ

Will there be food?…… While Cowee will not be providing food, you are welcome to bring food of your own. Coffee will be provided

Do I have to read?………. No, attending this worship service do not require you to read aloud. (If you would like to read, please sign up below)

Can children attend?……..Yes, we love to see families worshipping together

Do I have to stay the whole time?…… No, you may come and go as your schedule allows and you do not have to attend the whole 72 hours

What happens if I fall asleep? Can I sleep?……. We understand that 72 hours is a long time to stay awake. If you fall asleep during any part of the reading that will be ok
