The world around us has tried (since the beginning of time) to define what manhood should look like—but they fall short every time. The Bible defines what real Biblical manhood is. The role of a “godly man” is among the highest callings you will ever receive. Never allow culture to twist your perspective of God’s calling. 

Faithfulness In A Hostile World

The world is hostile towards Christianity. In John 15, Jesus told us this would happen if we were faithful to him. We need to respond to this pressure and hostility with boldness and confidence.

Thankfully, this type of countercultural, faithful response is evident throughout the Bible. During this Be Strong conference, we are going to focus on Daniel as our example of faithfulness amidst hostility. Daniel was a very young man when he was brought into captivity and slavery in Babylon, but God exalted him and used him to proclaim truth in the middle of a wicked empire. Daniel’s unwavering faith, fierce determination, and persistent commitment to the Lord should encourage us to live faithfully in defiance of the hostile world around us.
