Jesus Is Our Perfect Priest
1 .Why do we not need to offer sacrifices for our sins?
Answer: Jesus is our perfect and final sacrifice. Animal sacrifices can never completely take away sin. Jesus’ sacrifice is once-and-for-all because only He lived a perfect, sinless life, and only He defeated sin and death.
2. Do we need to follow rules and religious laws to be saved?
Answer: No, even the priests in the old testament perfectly for the rules or the Law. We can never measure up to God’s perfect standard of holiness, but we can be saved through faith in Jesus Christ who is our perfect sacrifice.
3. Because Jesus lived as a human, what does this mean for us?
It means that He knows what we’re going through when we go through trials and temptations, and He will give us the strength to overcome them.
