Jesus Came to Be a Sacrifice for Sin
Discussion Questions:
1. Why is a sacrifice necessary to pay for sin?
Answer: Because the penalty for sin is death (Romans 6:23), we deserve to die for our sin, but Jesus met God’s perfect requirement for a substitute, sin sacrifice.
2. Is there anything else we need to do to be forgiven by God? Why not?
Answer: Jesus’ sacrifice was complete and is the only way for our sins to be forgiven. We do nothing to earn our forgiveness of our sin and salvation.
