Jacob Fled From Canaan

  1. Why was Jacob on the run?

Answer: He was on the run because he stole the blessing from his brother Esau.   

  1. One night, a man appeared to Jacob. What happened?

 Answer: Jacob and the man wrestled all night. Jacob would not give up until the man blessed him. The man finally blessed Jacob and changed his name to Israel. Jacob said he had seen God face to face! It was God who had come down to wrestle Jacob and bless him.  

  1. Is God faithful to keep His promises?

Answer: God always keeps His promises. He is in control and nothing can stop His plans.
