June 29- July 4, 2026  

SUNDAY PRAYER/COMMISSIONING: June 28, 2026- each year we intentionally pray for our camp week, commissioning our students and chaperones into a week of intentional discipleship, deeper relationship with God, deeper fellowship with believers, and whatever else God may have planned for us! Prayer times will be at the end of our 8:45am service and ask for everyone to be there by 9:30am, and again at at the 9:45am service and 11:15 services with 10am Sunday School/Group time with breakfast items. Please plan on being at one or both services.

WHAT:  SNOWBIRD SUMMER CAMP (Students Grades 7-12)

Summer Camp at Snowbird is all about pointing students to the Gospel. Offering nearly two-dozen recreation options, SWO is committed to high-adventure recreation. More than that, SWO is committed to Gospel-centered discipleship!

Departure to CAMP: Please plan on bringing your student to Cowee Baptist Church (6301 Bryson City Rd, Franklin NC) at 1:30 PM on Monday June 29 (EAT LUNCH BEFORE COMING)

Arrival back HOME: We will depart from camp around 9:15AM, ETA back to Cowee Church 11:15AM (Saturday July 4)

PACKING LIST Click HERE NO CELL PHONES/Electronics, also no two piece bathing suits. Snacks are a good idea for the cabin! Modest clothing- parents please check short length, no spandex, spaghetti straps, or mid-drifts.... remember darker shifts for water activities. Think outdoor, outside recreation when packing. Great to have a refillable water bottle. MUST HAVE- twin bedding, towels, toiletries, bible, notebook, pen, clothed toe shoes, shoes for white water rafting (secured shoes/water shoes...no slides, flip flops for rafting).

$$$ How much money to bring?:  
Students spend an average of $50 at the Snack Shack during their trip to SWO. None of the products are required, but there are plenty of shirts, hats, water bottles, and snacks available. All major debit and credit cards are accepted in the SWO Snack Shack. BUY SNACK SHACK CASH HERE
