10 Things You Can Do This Easter to Make a Difference

Jason Smith   -

Hey Church Family,

Easter is almost here, and I believe God’s going to move in powerful ways. Here are 10 simple things you can do to help make it meaningful for others and for you:

  1. Pray now

Start today. Ask God to prepare hearts and draw people to Himself.

  2. Pray as you pull in

Before you even step out of the car, ask for His presence to fill the room.

  3. Park farther away

If you’re able, leave the best spots for guests, seniors, and young families.

  4. Consider an earlier service

If it works for your family, attending an earlier service helps make room during our most crowded hour.

    Easter Sunday services:

  • 7:30 a.m. Sunrise — a unique, stand-alone outdoor service with a special time of communion. (light refreshments following)

  • 8:30 a.m. Traditional

  • 8:30 a.m. Crossover

  • 9:45 a.m. Crossover

  • 11:15 a.m. Crossover

  1. Arrive early and expectant

A welcoming environment starts before the first song is sung.

  2. Sit toward the front

It encourages others to come in easily, especially guests who may arrive late and feel unsure about where to sit.

  3. Smile and say hello

Look for unfamiliar faces. Ask, “How long have you been at Cowee?” It goes a long way. Don’t ask things like, “is it your first time here?”

  4. Invite someone

A simple text can change a life. Most people would say yes if a friend invited them. Here is a easy to copy and send text: Hey! I’d love for you to join me at church for Easter! Here’s the service info. Let me know what works for you! www.Cowee.Church/Easter

  5. Worship with passion

Jesus is alive. Let’s worship like it. Joy is contagious.

  6. Celebrate with resurrection hope starting right now!

Let’s remember what this day means and live in the joy and victory of our risen Savior.

Can’t wait to see you this weekend.
